Terms of Service

Tokad is a web app that lets you chat with AI models from Anthropic, Google and OpenAI without a subscription. Advertising pays for the model usage, so viewing advertising is part of how you access the service.

We may change, add or remove features, models and tiers at any time. Model names and capabilities are set by their providers and can change without notice.

One person, one account. Keep your password secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account.

Do not use Tokad to:

• Break the law, or help anyone else break it.
• Create sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises a real person without consent.
• Harass, threaten, defame or impersonate anyone.
• Produce malware, phishing pages, credential stuffing tools, or instructions for weapons capable of mass harm.
• Generate content that infringes copyright, trademarks, trade secrets or privacy rights.
• Offer regulated medical, legal or financial advice as though it came from a licensed professional.
• Scrape, resell, sublicense or repackage Tokad's output as a competing API or bulk service.
• Interfere with the service: no automated access, no rate limit evasion, no reverse engineering, no attempt to extract our system prompts or keys.

You keep ownership of what you write. Subject to the model providers' own terms, you may use the output for any lawful purpose. You are responsible for checking that your use of any output is lawful.

Output is not professional advice. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial, safety or employment decisions without checking it against a qualified source. Similar prompts may produce different answers, and output may resemble what other users receive.

Tokad is funded by advertising, and viewing an ad is required to access the service, including the higher model tiers. Each rewarded ad is started by you: the send button states the trade before you click it, and the reward is disclosed before the ad plays.

• Rewards and credits are a licence to use a feature inside Tokad. They are not money, not property, and have no cash value.
• Credits are personal to your account. They cannot be sold, transferred, gifted, exchanged or redeemed for cash or anything outside Tokad.
• We may change, expire, suspend or discontinue rewards, credits, tiers and ad lengths at any time, including after credits have been earned.
• Credits are forfeited without compensation if your account is closed or terminated for a breach of these terms.
• Do not interfere with advertising: no ad blocking on rewarded units, no spoofed or automated completions, no falsified postbacks or offer completions, no multiple accounts to farm rewards.

Fraudulent or automated reward activity leads to the removal of the credits involved and may lead to termination.

Your prompts are sent to the AI provider that answers them, advertising is served by third parties, and connecting Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar or Slack sends data to those services on your instruction. Their terms apply to their part of the flow, and we are not responsible for their services.

Tokad is provided free of charge, without any uptime commitment. We may apply rate limits, queue requests or temporarily restrict expensive features to keep the service running for everyone.

You may stop at any time and delete your account from Settings, then Data and privacy. We may suspend or terminate an account, with notice where practical, if:

• these terms or the acceptable use rules are breached;
• there is fraudulent, automated or abusive reward or ad activity;
• the account is used in a way that threatens the security or integrity of the service, or exposes us to legal liability;
• a partner, provider or law requires it;
• the account has been inactive for a long period, or the service is discontinued.

For minor or first-time issues we will normally warn or restrict before terminating. On termination your right to use Tokad ends immediately, your credits are forfeited, and your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

Tokad is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tokad and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, nor for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill or business interruption, arising from the use of the service or from reliance on any output.

Because Tokad is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, which is normally zero, or fifty US dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

You agree to indemnify Tokad and its operators against claims, damages and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these terms or of applicable law.

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and continuing to use Tokad after a material change means you accept it. If you do not accept the change, stop using the service and delete your account.

If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These terms are the entire agreement between us about the service. For questions, write to support@tokad.ai.
